You can see many animals from Sugar Loaf Mountain in Rio de Janero, Brazil.
Near the cafeteria, you can see some birds (frigates flying over Sugar Loaf) as well as small lizards (over the rock after the safety bars). Occasionally, you can see reasonably sized lizards (around a half-meter or 2-feet long).
You may also see humming birds, tanagers, tiê-sangue tanagers, sabiá song-thrushes, finches, and hawks.
If it is your lucky day, you may come across Marmosets (little monkeys) as you go down the set of staircases on the right-hand side of the souvenir shop. You may also see extra views from an overlook way down the staircases.
Most tourists don’t see the third overlook surrounded by lush vegetation since they don’t explore the area (most limit themselves to the two overlooks) and end up missing the opportunity of seeing other animals at Sugar Loaf hill in Rio de Janeiro.
