The taxi fare from Rio de Janeiro International Airport (GIG) to Leblon District is rather inexpensive, safe and quick.

Rio Airport (GIG — which is equally domestic and international) is reasonably close to Leblon (24 kilometers or 15 miles).

Taxis in Rio de Janeiro airport (as well as all over Rio) take maximum 4 people (and depending on the car model, the seating may be a bit tight). Beware that taxi drivers almost never accept a 5th person in the car, not even for short rides.
Taxis in Rio de Janeiro are rather inexpensive for short distances. If you stay in Leblon, eat in its restaurants and go to Leblon Beach you will not need a taxi, since the neighborhood is quite compact. To go from Leblon to Ipanema, Copacabana, Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf or sightseeing you will need a taxi.
