Hours of Corcovado Train Station in Rio de Janeiro

The hours of operation of the Corcovado Train Station in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is every day from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., including busy holidays such as Christmas, New Years Day, Easter and others.

During the summer the railway train company adds one extra hour of operation in the evening, but it depends whether or not the visibility is good enough not to disappoint visitors. Beware that the ticket cost can not be refunded if you can’t see the views or the statue due to poor visibility.

It takes approximately two hours to visit the statue, which includes taking the cogwheel train down at Corcovado Train Station, arriving at the statue sanctuary 20 minutes later, taking photos around and appreciating the monument and the views for about 40 minutes and taking the train back (you can take any train down to Corcovado Train Station anytime you want).

Learning the hours of the Corcovado Train Station is not enough to avoid the lines and all the hassle associated with visiting the statue.
